Abstract

The influence of literature on human psychology is profound, shaping emotions, thinking, and behavior through mechanisms such as character attachment, empathy, and moral development. Reading fiction and other literary works engages multiple brain regions, boosting cognitive functions like critical thinking, analytical skills, and memory. It enables readers to immerse themselves in complex narratives, which helps develop intellectual agility and problem-solving abilities.
