This comprehensive study, titled "Silent Suffering: Rape as a Weapon of Terror in Northeastern Nigeria and Legal Pathways to Justice," delves into the horrifying use of rape as a tool of terrorism in the context of northeastern Nigeria. The research scrutinizes the prevalence of sexual violence, its impact on victims and communities, and the legal frameworks in place to address these crimes. By analyzing international law, domestic legislation, and the challenges faced in prosecuting perpetrators, this study seeks to shed light on the urgent need for justice and support for survivors of sexual violence in conflict zones.
