RISK FACTORS FOR INFLAMMATORY PERIODONTAL DISEASE IN YOUNG PEOPLE
Esаnov Bahtiyorjon Yuvashboyevich , Andijan state medical instituteAbstract
The study included a total of 150 people aged 18 to 30 years. The OHI-S (simplified Green-Vermilion Oral Hygiene Index) and Silness Loe indices were used to assess the oral hygiene and determine plaque thickness. Most often, inflammatory processes in the gums, namely, chronic catarrhal gingivitis, were detected in patients with fixed dentures in the oral cavity or with malocclusion, which are among the main risk factors for periodontal disease in young people aged 18 to 30 years.
Keywords
oral hygiene, gingivitis, young age, risk factors for gum inflammation.
