DEVELOPING VISUAL THINKING SKILLS IN STUDENTS THROUGH THE CREATION OF AN ANATOMICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL MODEL OF THE LARYNX

Abdumutalipov Ulugbek , Andijan State Medical Institute

Abstract

In modern medical education, the development of visual and spatial thinking plays a crucial role in understanding the structure and function of human organs. The larynx, due to its complex anatomical organization and multifaceted physiological functions, provides an ideal basis for integrating modeling techniques into the teaching process. The creation of an anatomical and physiological model of the larynx enhances students’ visualization skills, deepens comprehension of functional anatomy, and bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice. This article analyzes the pedagogical significance of constructing a laryngeal model as an educational tool, highlighting its role in improving spatial perception, cognitive engagement, and problem-solving abilities among medical students. The study further emphasizes how interactive modeling fosters critical and clinical thinking in anatomy education.
