Empirical evidence highlights that certification enhances financial performance, market access, and stakeholder trust, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises and firms in environmentally sensitive industries. The study also considers challenges including greenwashing and governance issues, emphasizing the importance of rigorous implementation.
