QUANTITATIVE EVALUATION OF DENTAL CARIES PREVALENCE AND SEVERITY USING THE DMF INDEX

Abstract

This article presents the results of assessing the prevalence and intensity of dental caries in examined individuals based on the DMF index. Clinical dental examination revealed a high intensity of carious lesions among most patients. A comparative analysis of DMF index components was performed considering gender and study groups. The findings highlight the need for improved preventive and therapeutic dental care strategies.
