The formation of early urban culture in the territories of Central Asia, like the development of society as a whole, followed a path of continuous evolutionary progress. In accordance with this pattern, the emergence and advancement of urban planning culture passed through long and gradual historical stages. The article provides a detailed discussion of the close connections between the ancient cities of Central Asia and the world’s cultural, economic, and political centers.
