This article explores the significance of corpus linguistics in the development of modern lexicography, emphasizing how computerized language corpora have transformed the way dictionaries are compiled, analyzed, and used. The study highlights the methodological advantages of corpus-based research, such as authenticity, frequency analysis, and contextual accuracy, and discusses the transition from traditional intuition-based lexicography to data-driven dictionary-making. The findings demonstrate that corpus linguistics not only improves the reliability and objectivity of lexical descriptions but also contributes to the creation of more user-friendly and dynamic lexicographic resources.
