SPACE ECONOMY: TOWARDS A NEW TRILLION-DOLLAR MARKET

Abstract

 This article analyzes the formation processes of the modern space economy, its integration into the global economic system, and the strategic sectors that generate a new trillion-dollar economic market, based on scientific and theoretical approaches. The research provides a comprehensive examination of the economic value of developing space technologies, the satellite industry, the rapid expansion of space tourism, the prospects of utilizing asteroid resources, and the mechanisms of forming orbital infrastructure. In addition, the article highlights the macroeconomic effectiveness of investments directed toward the space economy, the factors influencing innovative development, and the strategic opportunities for building a competitive economy. According to the results of the analysis, the global importance of the space economy is expected to increase sharply in the coming decades, creating transformational opportunities that generate high added value for both governments and the private sector.
