Hormones are biochemical substances secreted by endocrine glands that regulate various physiological and behavioral processes in the human body. They act as chemical messengers, transmitting information from one part of the body to another. This paper explores the function of human hormones, their classification, and the mechanisms by which they maintain homeostasis and influence growth, metabolism, and reproduction.
