This scientific article provides a systematic analysis of the interrelationship between tourism and economic development within a contemporary context. The study examines the contribution of tourism to economic growth, global trends, and the policies and prospects being implemented in Uzbekistan. Particular attention is paid to identifying the role of tourism in the national economy, digitalization of the sector, resource efficiency, and sustainable development approaches. The research methodology includes statistical analysis, comparative analysis, empirical data assessment, and strategic evaluation. The article identifies the economic benefits and future prospects of tourism in Uzbekistan and proposes sustainable development strategies.
