Abstract

The elementary school years are an important period in a child's development, shaping his interests, abilities, and attitudes toward learning. During this formative stage, children begin to explore their passions, discover their strengths, and build a foundation for future academic and personal growth. However, several issues can prevent primary school students from developing their interests and skills, affecting their motivation, self-esteem, and overall well-being information about the issues is given.

Annotatsiya: Boshlang'ich maktab yillari bolaning rivojlanishidagi muhim davr bo'lib, uning qiziqishlari, qobiliyatlari va o'rganishga bo'lgan munosabatini shakllantiradi. Ushbu shakllanish bosqichida bolalar o'zlarining ehtiroslarini o'rganishni, kuchli tomonlarini kashf qilishni va kelajakdagi akademik va shaxsiy o'sish uchun poydevor yaratishni boshlaydilar. Однако некоторые проблемы могут помешать учащимся начальной школы развивать свои интересы и навыки, влияя на их мотивацию, самооценку и общее благополучие. предоставляется информация по вопросам.

INTRODUCTION.

Developing interests and skills in elementary school students is an important aspect of their overall growth and academic success. However, several issues can affect this development and prevent students from learning to their full potential. In this context, it is very important to solve these problems in order to create a favorable environment that effectively develops students' interests and abilities.

MATERIALS AND METHODS.

One of the main challenges is limited exposure to diverse experiences and research opportunities. Students may not have access to a wide range of activities, topics, or resources that stimulate their interests and talents. This lack of exposure can limit their ability to discover and develop their passions. Gender stereotypes and societal expectations can influence children's interests and abilities. Girls may shy away from STEM fields, while boys may face pressure to conform to traditional notions of masculinity. Such prejudices can limit students from learning about different interests and talents. The existence of a fixed mindset, in which students believe that their abilities are innate and unchangeable, makes it difficult for them to cope with challenges and may hinder the development of new skills. A fixed mindset can lead to fear of failure and reluctance to step out of their comfort zone. Some students may lack the necessary support and encouragement from teachers, parents, or peers to explore their interests and develop their abilities. Without guidance, mentoring, and positive reinforcement, students may struggle to develop their talents and pursue their passions. Focus on grades and academic performance rather than personal growth and exploration focus can reduce students' intrinsic motivation and interest. Pressure to excel on standardized tests and meet external demands can overshadow the joy of learning and discovery. Schools can create diverse and inclusive environments that celebrate students' unique interests, backgrounds, and talents.

Encouraging exploration of a variety of subjects and activities helps students discover new passions and talents. Teachers can promote a growth mindset by emphasizing the importance of resilience, persistence, and resilience. [1]

RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS.

Encouraging students to see mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow helps them develop their skills. Mentoring programs, career opportunities, and guidance counseling help students identify their interests and personal and academic interests can help in setting goals for development. Mentors can inspire and guide students on a path of self-discovery. Hands-on, experiential learning opportunities can engage students and allow them to apply their interests and skills in real-world settings. Project-based learning, extracurricular activities, and creative activities can develop students' talents and passions. Building a supportive community of teachers, parents, and peers helps students feel valued and motivated 'can create an educational environment where they feel encouraged and empowered to explore their interests. Positive relationships and a sense of belonging can increase students' confidence and motivation.[2]

Mentoring supports students' personal and academic growth by providing guidance, encouragement, and support in identifying interests and setting meaningful developmental goals plays a crucial role in support. Through a mentoring relationship, students can explore their passions, gain valuable insights, and receive personalized guidance to help them realize their aspirations and reach their full potential. Mentors provide students with a personal path helps explore their interests, strengths, and values ​​by offering guidance and support. By engaging in meaningful conversations and activities with their mentors, students gain insight into what excites them and what they are passionate about, leading to a deeper understanding of their interests. Mentors can expose students to a wide range of opportunities, experiences, and resources that match their interests. Through mentoring, students can explore new fields, participate in related activities and connect with experts in their interests, expand their horizons, and help them discover new passions. Mentoring relationships help students' self-confidence and enhances self-awareness, allowing you to clearly and confidently express your interests, goals and aspirations. By providing constructive feedback, encouragement, and validation, mentors help students develop a strong sense of self-efficacy and confidence in their ability to pursue their interests.[3]

Mentors help students understand their interests, values, and aspirations. helps to set appropriate realistic and achievable personal development goals. By breaking down larger goals into manageable steps and timelines, mentors help students create a roadmap for success and track their progress toward their goals. Mentors hold students accountable for their goals and provide ongoing motivation and support , helping them stay focused and committed to their personal development path. Regular reviews, feedback sessions, and goal-setting exercises instill a sense of accountability and encourage students to take proactive steps toward their goals directs his thinking and continuous learning. Mentors guide students in identifying areas for improvement, learning from failures, and adjusting their goals based on new insights and experiences, encouraging continuous personal development.[5]

CONCLUSION.

Developing interests and abilities in elementary school students is a multifaceted process that requires a supportive and inclusive learning environment. By implementing problem-solving and strategies to nurture students' passions, talents, and growth mindsets, educators can help students discover their potential, pursue their interests, and develop academically and personally. By focusing on collaboration, mentoring and holistic development, we can nurture a generation of confident, curious and resilient learners ready to tackle the complexities of the future.[4]
