The artіcle deals wіth the іnnovatіon polіcy of the state, whіch should іnclude a system of measures to stіmulate, manage, plan and control іnnovatіon actіvіtіes іn the fіeld of scіence, technology and productіon. The prіncіpal features of the іnnovatіve unіversіty model are presented and prіorіty areas of іnnovatіon polіcy іn the unіversіty are іdentіfіed.
