Abstract

This article examines global influenza pandemics as one of the most significant threats to public health. It analyzes the historical evolution of influenza pandemics, virological characteristics of the influenza virus, transmission mechanisms, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, treatment strategies, and preventive measures. Special emphasis is placed on global epidemiological surveillance systems and vaccination as key tools for reducing morbidity and mortality. The study highlights the necessity of pandemic preparedness in modern healthcare systems.
