MORALITY, EDUCATION AND CULTURE OF THE TURKISH PEOPLE IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE TURKISTAN JADIDS

Abstract

This article analyzes the issues of moral, educational, and cultural revival of the Turkic peoples within the philosophical views of the Turkestan Jadid movement in the early 20th century. The research highlights the ideas of national identity through “enlightened morality” and the “Usul-i Jadid” system advocated by thinkers such as Mahmudkhoja Behbudi, Abdurauf Fitrat, and Abdulla Avloni. The article philosophically substantiates the Jadids’ efforts to integrate Turkic peoples into global progress by developing family education, secular schooling, and the national press.
