CAUSATIVE AGENTS OF ACUTE RESPIRATORY DISEASES IN CHILDREN: COMPREHENSIVE ETIOLOGICAL AND CLINICAL ANALYSIS
Mirkhoshimov Mirbobir Botir ugli, Tuychiyev Laziz Nadirovich, Khudaykulova Gulnara Karimovna , Research Institute of Virology of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Epidemiology, Microbiology, Infectious and Parasitic DiseasesAbstract
Acute respiratory diseases (ARDs) represent one of the most significant health concerns in pediatric populations worldwide, accounting for a substantial proportion of morbidity, hospitalization, and mortality among children. These infections are caused by a broad spectrum of viral, bacterial, and atypical pathogens, each contributing differently to disease severity and clinical outcomes. The present study aims to provide a comprehensive and expanded analysis of the causative agents of acute respiratory diseases in children, examining their epidemiological distribution, pathogenic mechanisms, age-related characteristics, and role in complications. The study is based on clinical observations, laboratory diagnostics, and comparative epidemiological analysis. The findings demonstrate that viral pathogens are predominant in most cases, while bacterial agents significantly contribute to complications and severe disease progression. The results emphasize the importance of accurate etiological diagnosis, rational therapeutic approaches, and preventive strategies in improving pediatric health outcomes.
