This article examines the morphological structure of nervous tissue, the main characteristics of neurons, and the functional role of neuroglia. During the study, the interaction between the main components of the nervous system—neurons and glial cells—was analyzed along with their physiological significance. The results demonstrate the complex organization of nervous tissue and highlight the essential protective and trophic roles of neuroglia.
