AMIR TIMUR: A SCHOOL OF JUSTICE, POWER, AND STATEHOOD

This article explores the personality of Sahibqiran Amir Timur, focusing on his state-building activities, military art, and substantial contribution to the development of global civilization. It provides an analysis of his early life, his role as a political unifier, the formation of a centralized state, as well as his military strategies and governing principles. The study further examines the phenomenon of the Second Renaissance during the Timurid period, highlighting the flourishing of science, literature, art, and architecture through specific examples. Special attention is given to the intellectual and cultural heritage of prominent figures including Mirzo Ulughbek, Alisher Navoi, Babur, Jami, Qazizoda Rumi, Ghiyath al-Din Kashi, and Ali Qushchi. Additionally, the article discusses the importance of Tuzuk-i Timur as a foundational text of governance and considers the relevance of Amir Timur’s legacy in the present day.
