Eastern philosophy represents a diverse and historically rich body of thought that has profoundly influenced social organization, ethical systems, governance, and cultural identity across vast regions of Asia. Traditions such as Confucianism, Daoism, Buddhism, and Islamic philosophy have shaped collective values including harmony, justice, moral responsibility, and social balance. This article examines the philosophical foundations of Eastern thought and analyzes their impact on social development from both historical and contemporary perspectives. Emphasis is placed on how these traditions contribute to social cohesion, governance models, education systems, and moral frameworks. The study demonstrates that Eastern philosophy continues to provide relevant insights for addressing modern global challenges.
