Abstract

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains one of the most lethal malignancies worldwide, characterized by late-stage diagnosis, aggressive progression, and limited therapeutic efficacy. With an overall five-year survival rate of merely 10% globally and approximately 510,922 new cases and 467,409 deaths reported in 2022, pancreatic cancer represents a formidable public health challenge . The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and nanomedicine heralds a transformative paradigm in oncology—termed“Smart Cancer Care”—that promises to revolutionize early detection, precise diagnosis, targeted drug delivery, and personalized treatment strategies. This narrative review examines the synergistic integration of AI-driven diagnostic platforms and nano-based therapeutic systems in the management of pancreatic cancer, exploring current advancements, clinical applications, and future trajectories toward precision oncology.
