THE ROLE OF HOMOCYSTEINE AND HIGH SENSITIVITY C-REACTIVE PROTEIN IN ASSESSING THE RISK OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES

Abstract

We examined 401 people who had not previously been observed with cardiovascular pathology, as well as patients with CVD aged from 30 to 70 years. The following studies were carried out: a standard questionnaire survey, determination of lipid spectrum indicators, glucose, creatinine and urea levels, uric acid levels in blood serum, C-reactive protein. Based on the results, patients were divided into groups depending on the level of cardiovascular risk (CVR) according to SCORE2.
