SIMULATION-BASED LEARNING IN MEDICAL EDUCATION: A CASE OF INTERNAL MEDICINE

Mavluda Kozimjonovna Yakubbekova , Department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology

Abstract

Simulation-based learning has become a cornerstone in modern medical education, providing students with opportunities to practice clinical decision-making and technical skills in a safe, controlled environment. In the field of internal medicine, simulation offers a unique platform for integrating theoretical knowledge with practical competence. This article explores the role of simulation in medical education, particularly its application in internal medicine training, analyzing its effectiveness, challenges, and future perspectives. The findings demonstrate that simulation enhances diagnostic accuracy, clinical reasoning, and teamwork while reducing medical errors, making it a vital pedagogical tool in preparing competent physicians.
