Pratibha Bhardwaj , Department Of Orthopedics, Era’s Lucknow Medical College, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, IndiaAbstract
Anemia during pregnancy poses a significant health concern, affecting both maternal and fetal well-being. This study aims to investigate the influence of antenatal care on the prevalence of anemia among pregnant women in Lucknow, India. We conducted a comprehensive analysis, considering various aspects of antenatal services, including frequency, quality, and accessibility, and their impact on anemia rates. Data were collected through structured interviews and medical assessments of pregnant women attending healthcare facilities in Lucknow. Statistical analysis, including regression modeling, was employed to assess the relationship between antenatal care variables and anemia prevalence. Our findings reveal a compelling connection between antenatal care utilization and a reduced prevalence of anemia among pregnant women. This study contributes valuable insights into the role of antenatal care in addressing anemia in pregnancy, offering recommendations to improve maternal and fetal health outcomes.
