Uzbekistan has significant potential for developing its biotechnology sector due to its rich agricultural resources, growing scientific capabilities, and government support. This article examines the current state and future prospects of biotechnology in Uzbekistan, including key focus areas, challenges, and recommendations to further advance the field. The results indicate that Uzbekistan has made notable progress in agricultural and medical biotechnology, with increasing research output and international collaborations.
