Abstract

 This article discusses the COVID-19 infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), the etiological agent of COVID-19 disease, which has caused a pandemic, severely affecting not only the lungs but also the central and peripheral nervous systems.
