Pulatov Sardorbek Bahodirjonovich,Yusupov Mansurjon Mamajonovich , Fergana Public Health Medical Institute, Department of Nutrition, Hygiene of Children and Adolescents, Lecturers:Abstract
Food products play a crucial role in maintaining human health and supporting physiological functions. This article reviews the medical and biological significance of various food components, including macronutrients, micronutrients, and bioactive compounds. The study employs a comprehensive literature review methodology, analyzing scientific publications from recognized international databases. Results indicate that diets rich in natural and minimally processed foods enhance metabolic regulation, immune competence, and disease prevention, while excessive consumption of highly processed foods is associated with metabolic dysfunctions and chronic diseases. The findings highlight the importance of nutrient quality, bioavailability, and functional properties in dietary planning and public health strategies. This article provides evidence-based insights to guide nutritional recommendations and preventive healthcare interventions.
