NURTURING QUALITY CARE: INVESTIGATING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NURSE-STAFFING LEVELS AND ACUTE CARE SERVICE QUALITY - A CROSS-NATIONAL PANEL DATA ANALYSIS IN OECD COUNTRIES
Niko Virtanen , University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, FinlandAbstract
This research explores the intricate relationship between nurse-staffing levels and the quality of acute care services in OECD countries through a comprehensive cross-national panel data analysis. By examining data trends over time, this study aims to discern patterns and associations between nurse staffing and acute care service quality. The findings contribute to the ongoing discourse on healthcare management, policy formulation, and the optimization of nursing resources to enhance the overall quality of acute care services on an international scale.
