This article explores the pedagogical foundations of using multimedia technologies in teaching English to students in Karakalpak grades 8-9. The study examines key educational theories that support multimedia integration, including constructivism, communicative language teaching, and interactive learning approaches. It analyzes how digital tools such as audio materials, videos, presentations, and online platforms enhance students’ language skills, particularly listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Special attention is given to the specific educational context of Karakalpak schools, where multimedia technologies can increase student motivation, improve comprehension, and support learner-centered instruction. The paper concludes that the effective and pedagogically grounded use of multimedia technologies significantly improves the quality of English language education in secondary schools.
