This article analyzes the political and social changes that occurred in society after independence in Uzbekistan, and the role of freedom of thought and speech in further improving civil society in New Uzbekistan. In the age of information technologies, for the correct upbringing of the younger generation, the formation of information culture and responsibility, the sustainable development of society, the need to educate a spiritually mature, legally literate, and independent-thinking personality has been substantiated.
