| Open Access | HISTORY OF THE BUKHARA EMIRATE IN THE WORKS OF LOCAL HISTORIANS

This article analyzes the coverage of the history of the Bukhara Emirate in the works of local historians. In particular, in the works of historians such as Ahmad Donish, Mirzo Badi' Devon, Sadr Ziyo, Mahmud ibn Vali, Muhammad Yusuf Munshi, Mirza Salimbek, information about the political, social, economic, and cultural life of the emirate was studied. Also, based on the documents of the Kushbegi archive of the Bukhara Emirate and the Central State Archive, the history of the administrative system, military structure, trade relations, and local principalities in the emirate was analyzed. As a result of the research, it was substantiated that the works of local historians are an important and reliable source in the study of the history of the Bukhara Emirate.
