This article examines the history, rules, and characteristics of basketball and its two widely popular variants — mini-basketball and streetball (3x3). A comparative analysis of each discipline is provided, including their impact on the physical and psychological development of participants, as well as the prospects for the advancement of these sports in Uzbekistan.
