| Open Access | THE LIFE AND LITERARY LEGACY OF SHUKUR KHOLMIRZAEV IN UZBEK LITERATURE

This article analyzes the life and literary legacy of Shukur Kholmirzaev, one of the prominent representatives of modern Uzbek prose. The study examines the writer’s biography, the stages of his creative development, and the thematic and stylistic characteristics of his literary works. Particular attention is given to the depiction of human psychology, rural life, national traditions, and social relations in his stories and novellas. Using biographical, historical-literary, and comparative analytical methods, the research evaluates Kholmirzaev’s contribution to the development of Uzbek storytelling traditions. The results demonstrate that the writer significantly influenced modern Uzbek prose through realistic narrative techniques and psychological analysis of characters.
