Viloyat Jumaboevna Shodieva , Independent Researcher, University of Journalism and Mass Communications of UzbekistanAbstract
This article examines the problem of the transformation of the female image in modern television based on the example of the Turkish language and culture. The study analyzes how women are represented in mass media, particularly in television series and programs, and how these representations have evolved over time in response to social and cultural changes. The article explores the contrast between traditional and modern portrayals of women in Turkish television, highlighting the shift from stereotypical roles to more independent, active, and socially engaged female characters. Special attention is given to the linguistic and communicative means used to construct female identities, including speech patterns, discourse features, and cultural symbols. The findings indicate that modern television plays a significant role in reshaping the image of women, reflecting broader transformations in gender perceptions and social roles. The study also emphasizes the importance of media discourse in influencing public attitudes toward women and contributing to the reinterpretation of gender norms in contemporary society.
