Xudayarova Mo’tabarbonu Olimjonovna , Asian International UniversityAbstract
Gestational rhinitis is a clinical condition in pregnant women characterized by nasal congestion, without infectious or allergic etiology. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the disease’s etiopathogenesis, clinical course, differential diagnosis, effects on the fetus and mother, and principles of management during the third trimester. Modern therapeutic approaches and safe treatment strategies are highlighted. During pregnancy, profound physiological changes occur in the maternal body, affecting not only the reproductive system but also the respiratory, cardiovascular, and immune systems.Gestational rhinitis affects approximately 20–30% of pregnant women, typically developing in the second to third trimester and resolving spontaneously after delivery. Although this condition does not pose a life-threatening risk, it can significantly reduce quality of life and disrupt sleep.
