TECHNOLOGIES FOR IMPROVING THE GENERAL AND SPECIAL PHYSICAL FITNESS OF BASKETBALL PLAYERS

Abstract

Basketball is a high-intensity team sport that requires athletes to possess a high level of general and special physical fitness. General physical fitness forms the foundation for athletic performance, while special physical fitness is directly related to sport-specific movements and skills used during basketball games. The aim of this study is to analyze modern technologies and training methods used to improve the general and special physical preparedness of basketball players. The research highlights the importance of systematic training programs, modern conditioning techniques, and sport-specific exercises in enhancing the performance of basketball athletes.
