In this article diagnostic exercises are an important tool in identifying different types and degrees of speech underdevelopment, assessing a child's speech capabilities, and correctly planning practical speech therapy work.The concept of speech underdevelopment not only indicates insufficient formation of a child's speech capabilities, but also directly affects his psychological, social, and pedagogical development. Scientists believe that speech is closely related to higher mental functions such as thinking, memory, and attention in a child, and insufficient development of speech negatively affects the child's learning activities and communication with the social environment.
