This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of modern approaches in acting and directing art. In particular, it highlights the issues of acting performance, methods of character creation, stage interpretation, directorial solutions, and the application of innovative technologies in contemporary theatre and stage art. It also reveals the continuity between traditional schools and modern creative explorations, new forms of collaboration between actor and director, the improvement of stage expressive means, and modern principles of communication with the audience. The study substantiates that creative thinking, psychological analysis, improvisation, performative approach, and digital technologies are becoming important factors in acting and directing art. The article aims to demonstrate the significance of modern methods in the development of theatrical art.
