Abstract

This article scientifically analyzes the processes of digitalizing cash operations in commercial banks, the mechanisms for improving their efficiency, as well as the theoretical and practical aspects of implementing modern digital technologies. The acceleration of digital transformation in the banking system not only modernizes traditional cash services, reduces operational costs, and increases the speed and quality of customer service, but also intensifies the need to ensure financial security, data protection, and effective management of operational risks. From this perspective, the article comprehensively examines the role of cash operation automation, electronic payment systems, self-service banking services, biometric identification, artificial intelligence, and FinTech solutions in banking activities. During the research, innovative approaches aimed at optimizing cash circulation, reducing human factors, improving customer service efficiency, and minimizing fraud and operational errors were studied. In addition, the banking practices of developed countries, international standards, and the existing experience of Uzbekistan’s commercial banking system were comparatively analyzed, and scientific proposals and practical recommendations were developed to improve service quality, transparency, and competitiveness through the digitalization of cash operations.
