| Open Access | CLASSIFICATION OF IMAGES IN ALISHER NAVOI'S EPIC "LISON UT-TAYR"

This article examines the system of images in Alisher Navoi’s epic poem “Lison ut-Tayr.” The images of birds in the work are analyzed as allegorical representations of human characters. All images presented in the poem are considered individually, and the functions assigned to them are identified. The system of images and characters depicted in the work is explained on the basis of scholarly evidence.
