| Open Access | COMPETENCY-BASED AND METHODOLOGICAL PREPARATION OF FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS FOR TEACHING THE SUBJECT “TARBIYA” (MORAL EDUCATION)

This study focuses on improving the preparation of future primary school teachers for teaching the subject “Tarbiya” (Moral Education) on the basis of a competency-based approach. The relevance of the research is determined by the growing role of teachers not only in transmitting knowledge, but also in developing pupils’ moral, social, and personal competencies in the modern educational process. The main purpose of the study is to design a competency-based methodological system aimed at enhancing future teachers’ readiness to teach “Tarbiya” and to justify its pedagogical effectiveness.
The research employed systematic analysis, pedagogical modelling, experimental work, and diagnostic methods. The findings indicate that the proposed methodological system contributes to the significant development of future teachers’ methodological, communicative, and reflective competencies. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the development of an integrative model for preparing future primary school teachers to teach “Tarbiya” (Moral Education) within a competency-based framework, as well as in the experimental validation of its practical effectiveness.
