This article provides a scientific analysis of the main stages of the life of Abdulhamid Cholpon based on historical and literary sources. The writer's childhood and education, his role in the Jadid movement, the stage of creative maturity, his tragic fate during the years of Soviet repression, and the restoration of his legacy during the period of independence are covered. The inextricable connection of Cholpon's work with the ideas of national revival, enlightenment, and freedom is also revealed.
