
THE ROLE OF RELIGIOUS WORDS IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE

This article examines the significance of religious vocabulary in the Uzbek language, highlighting its historical roots, cultural relevance, and linguistic impact. It discusses the incorporation of Arabic and Persian terms following the introduction of Islam, how these words reflect cultural values and beliefs, and their continued relevance in contemporary society. The study emphasizes that religious words not only enrich the language but also serve as a vital link to Uzbekistan's cultural identity.
