IMPROVING THE ECONOMIC MECHANISMS FOR REDUCING POVERTY THROUGH INCREASING INVESTMENT ACTIVITY (A CASE STUDY OF SURXONDARYO REGION)

Abstract

This article examines the critical role of investment in reducing poverty, focusing on Surxondaryo, a region with untapped potential. Despite its rich natural resources, the region faces high poverty rates due to underinvestment in key sectors. By analyzing current trends and identifying economic mechanisms to enhance investment activity, the paper outlines a comprehensive strategy for poverty alleviation. These mechanisms include boosting private sector investment, leveraging public-private partnerships (PPPs), and enhancing human capital through education and training programs. The study emphasizes the importance of aligning government policy with market-driven initiatives to foster sustainable development in Surxondaryo.
