Abstract

This article examines the significance of cultural awareness in language learning, particularly in the context of second language acquisition (SLA). Understanding the culture behind a language deepens learners' ability to communicate effectively and understand nuances beyond vocabulary and grammar. This article explores the relationship between language and culture, the challenges learners face in developing cultural competence, and practical strategies teachers can use to promote cultural awareness in the classroom.
