This article discusses the importance of teaching linguistic register in EFL classrooms, emphasizing how it helps students navigate formal, informal, and neutral settings appropriately. Key strategies such as role-play exercises, vocabulary-building activities, authentic material analysis, and writing tasks are outlined to aid in the teaching of register. These techniques not only enhance students' language adaptability but also build cross-cultural awareness, preparing them for real-life interactions in varied English-speaking environments.
