This article examines the process of how English has evolved into a global language and analyzes the key factors that contributed to its worldwide dominance. Through historical, economic, political, and cultural perspectives, the study explores the position of English in the global context. The research findings suggest that the role of the British Empire, US global influence, international business, and technological development were crucial factors in establishing English as a global language.
