USING CORPUS LINGUISTICS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING: ANALYSIS AND RESULTS

Abstract

This article analyzes the effectiveness of using the methodology of corpus linguistics in teaching English. Through corpus linguistics, interactive approaches are proposed to develop teaching materials for students based on the real use of the language, identify and teach frequently encountered language units and grammatical structures in the learning process. The article shows that as a result of using corpus linguistics tools, students' level of practical language acquisition has improved and their knowledge of the language has deepened. It is also noted that this method allows teachers to enrich and modernize the lesson.
