LINGUO- CULTURAL STUDY OF Y. WELTI'S SMALL PROSE

Abstract

This article explores the linguo-cultural aspects of Y. Welti's small prose, focusing on the intricate relationship between language and culture as reflected in his works. Y. Welti, a renowned Swiss writer, is celebrated for his ability to encapsulate the ethos of Swiss life through concise narratives. The study examines how his small prose reflects cultural identity, values, and societal norms while employing linguistic elements that resonate with his cultural heritage. Drawing upon textual analysis and linguo-cultural theories, the article reveals the depth of cultural representation in Welti's prose and its contribution to Swiss literature.
