This article explores the advantages of integrating the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, in effective language teaching, particularly for adult learners. By fostering enhanced communication competence, increased engagement, improved cognitive development, real-world application, and better retention of knowledge, this holistic approach prepares learners for authentic interactions in diverse contexts.
