This article explores the linguistic features of aphorisms in English and Uzbek, highlighting similarities and differences in their structure, semantics, and cultural significance. Aphorisms, as concise and expressive forms of folk wisdom, play a significant role in reflecting national identity, worldview, and values. Through comparative analysis, the paper aims to reveal how each language encodes universal truths through unique linguistic and cultural lenses.
